RESOLUTION NO. 271
A R%SOLUTION OF TKE CITY OF CARLSBAD DECZaRING l$EEDS AND TRSISH UPON CERTAIN PROPB3TIZS TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE, ALND DESCRIBING SUCH PROPERTY; ORDBtTNG THB PUBLIC WORKS DIFECTOR TO ABATB SUCH NUISBNCIES, SETTING TIME AND PI,picjE FOR HiEARfNG OF OBJECTIONS TO TI333 PROPOSED ORDXR OF A3AT;EMEMT.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby
resolve as follows:
1, That the weeds and/or trash located or growing upon the
properties within the City of Carlsbad as set forth in Exhibit ''A"
attached hereto, and made a part hereof as though fully set forth
herein, are hereby declared to be a public nuisance within the
City of Carlsbad,
2. That the Public Works Director of the City of Carlsbad
is hereby instructed to abate such nuisances in accordance with the
provisions of Ordinance No. 5010-A of the City of Carlsbad.
3. That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad shall hold
a hearing at the hour of 7:30 ofclock P.M. on Tuesday the 2nd day
of July, 1957, at 296Q Pi0 Pic0 Drive, for the purpose of considerw
ing all objections or protests, if any, to the proposed abatement
of the nuisances.
4. The Public Works Director is hereby ordered to post a
"Notice To Abate Nuisancell upon all properties effected at least
five (5) days prior to time of hearing; and further that the Public
Works Director is ordered to send post card notices to the owners
of effected property, as such owners appeared on the last equalized
assessment roll at least seven (7) days prior to date of hearing.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 18th day of June, 1957, by the following
vote:
