RESOLUTION NO, 277
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI F THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
. AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WORK OR IM- PROVEMENT ORDERED BY RESOLUTION NO, 269 OF SAID CITY COUNCIL,
[Assessment District No, 1-1957)
WHEREAS, this City Council, on the 4th day of June,
1957, duly adopted Resolution No, 269 ordering the following
work to be done or improvement to be made, to wit, all that
certain work or improvement described in Resolution No, 2&
duly adopted by this City Council on the 7th day of
1957; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to and in accordance with s id
Resolution No. 249, a notice inviting sealed bids or proposals
for doing said work or improvement was duly published and
posted; and
WHEREAS, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M., July 2, 1957,
at the Council Chambers of this City Council, the time and
place fixed for the opening of said sealed bids or proposals,
all sealed bids or proposals for said work which were delivered
to the City Clerk were presented to this City Council and,
in open session, were publicly opened, examined and declared;
and
'WHEREAS, this City Council finds that said resolutions
were duly adopted and contained the matters and things required
by law and that all notices required by law have been duly
given and all hearings required by law duly held and that each
and every step in the proceedings prior to and including the
opening of said bids has been duly and regularly taken and that
this City Council has duly acquired jurisdiction;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:

Section 1, That this City Council does hereby determine
that the bid of Don Hubbard, Encinitas, California, is the
lowest regular bid for said work of any responsible bidder
and that said bid is accompanied by a good and sufficient
proposal guaranty which is satisfactory to this City Council,
and this City Council does hereby award the contract for said
work to the above named bidder, at the prices named in the
bid of said bidder.
