WHEREAS, the State Highway Engineer has proposed to the State Highway
ission the adoption of a freeway route commencing in the soktherly portion:
of the City of Carlsbad and terminating in the Rose Canyon area in the City of
San Diego, said route being more commonly refer'red to as the "Inland Route";
and
WHEREAS, the City Council af the City of Carlsbad has heretofore con-
curred with the recommendation of the State Highway Eng
WHEREAS, the State Highway Commission has adopted the recommenda-
tion of the State Highway Engineer and designated the "Inland Route'' as the
official location of such freeway,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ca-rlsbad that the City Council does herewith express its apprecdtion to the
State Highway Commission for its selection of the "Inland Route" as the official
location for such propo
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
RESOLUTION NQ. 279
Council held on the 20th day of August, 1957, by the folbwing vote, to wit:
AYES: Mayor Castorena, Councilmen Ledgerwood and Helton.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmen Robinson and Baird,
