RESOLUTION NO. 288
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAG
GENERALPREVAILlNGRATEFORLEGAL
HOLIDAY AND OVERTIME WORK IN THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, FOR CERTAIN
CRAFTS OR TYPES OF WORKMEX.
(Assessment District No. 2-1957)
WHEREAS, this City Council of the City of Carlsbad has ordered
certain sanitary sewer work or improvement, said work or improvement bein!
more particularly described in its R uion No. 287, adopted by this City
Council on October I, 1957; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has ascertained the general prevailing
rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said work is to be performed
for each craft or type of workman needed to execute the contract for said work
and this City Council ha
holiday and overtime work in said locality for each craft or type of workman
needed to execute said contract;

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Californii
DQES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the
locality in which said work is to be performed for each craft or type of
workman needed to execute the contract for said work is determined to be
as follows, to wit:

OVERTIME: Not less than one and one-half times the ab&e prevailing wages
of perdiem wages shall be paid for overtime work performed on Sundays and
legal holidays, as defined in Section 6700 of the California Governmen- Code, for work performed in excess of eight hours in any one calendar day where
overtime is permitted by law.
