HomeMy WebLinkAbout1958-02-04; City Council; Resolution 3381 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 13. 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 e RESOLUTION NO, 338 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTXON OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO VACATE THE WESTERLY PORTION OF CARLSBAD BOULEVARD BETWEEN PINE AVENUE AND CHINQUAPIN AVENUE; AND ESTABLISHING A TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The procedure for the vacation of the westerly portion of Carlsbad Boulevard between Pine Avenue and Chinquapin Avenue, in the City of Carlsbad, shall be, and the same is hereby ordered to be in accordance with the proceedings set forth in the State Vacation Act of 1941, contained in Sections 8300 to 8374 of the re-ets and Highways Code of the State of Califom It is hereby resolved and declared to be the intention of the City Council to vacate that portion of the westerly portion of Carlsbad Boulevz between Pine Avenue and Chinquapin Avenue, the details of such proposed vacation being-more specifically set forth in a map and plan in the office of the City Clerk, SECTION 2, SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Garlsbad hereby establishes as the date for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the proposec vacation, at 7:30 o'clock P.M, on March 4, 1958, at its regular meeting place in the City Hall in the City of Carlsbad, 2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, Carlsbad, California. SECTION 4. The City Engineer is hereby ordered to post notices of street vacation, as herein proposed, conspicuously along the line of the street or parts thereof, proposed to be vacated, with said posting to be accomplishec at least ten (10) days before the 4th day of March, 1958. be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, with at least three (3) being posted upon the portions of street proposed to be vacated. as posted shall state the passage of this Resolution of Intention and shall state the time and place of hearing of persons interested in, or objecting to Such notices shall The notices proposed vacation.
