HomeMy WebLinkAbout1958-02-18; City Council; Resolution 3414 5 6 7 e 9 1c 11 12 12 14 1: 1E 17 1E 1s 2c 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO. 341 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO VACATE A PORTION OF BUENA VISTA CIRCLE, LYING WITHIN BUENA VISTA GARDENS, ADJACENT TO LO AND ESTABLISHING A TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The procedure for the vacation of a portion of Buena Vista in Circle, lying witdBnena Vista Gardens, adjacent to Lots 8 and 9, in the City of Carlsbad, shall be, and the same is hereby ordered to be in accordance with the proceedings set forth in the Street Vacation Act of 1941, contained in Sections 8300 to 8374 of the Streets and Highways Code of the Skate of California. SEGTIQN 2. It is hereby resolved and declared to be the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of Buena Vista Circle I lying within Buem Vista Gardens the details of said vacation being more specifically set forth in a map and plan in the office of the City Clerk. adjacent to Lots 8 and 9 I City of Carlsbad above set forth, SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby establishe: the date for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the Vacation as herein set forth, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on March !8; 1958, at its regular meeting place in the City Hall, 2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, Carlsbad, California. SECTION 4. The City Engineer is hereby ordered to post notices of street vacation, as herein proposed, conspicuously along the line of the street, or parts thereof, proposed to be vacated, with said posting to be accomplished at least ten (10) days before thel8th day of March, 1958. Such ices shall be posted not more than three hundred (300) feet apart, with at least three (3) being posted upon the portions of street proposed to be vacated The notices as posted shall state the passage of this resolution of intention and shall state the time and place of hearing of persons interested in, or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION V. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to cause this resoltuion to be published once in the Carlsbad Journal, a weekly news- paper of general circulation in the City of Carlsbad, PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Garlsbad on the 18th day of February, 1958, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Ledgerwood, Robinson, Helton and Baird.
