RESOLUTION NO. 351
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF CABLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION RELATING TO THE PROPOSE33 API/IENDMENT OF ORDI- NANCE NO. 9060, BY DELETING FROM SAID ORDINANCE THE REQUIREMENT OF FOUR COUNCIL VOTES TO OVER- RULE THE? ACTION OF THE PLANNING COmISSION
WmREAS, on the 11th day of February, 1958, the Carlsbad
City Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 54, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Council has published notice that a
hearing will be held on March 4, 1958, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., at which
hearing the proposed amendment would be considered; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received all recommendztions and
heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does
hereby find, and adopt as the findings of the City Council the recommendations
of the Planning Commission as set forth in the above referenced Resolution
of the Planning Commission.
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED by the City Council that the approval of
the proposed amendment is necessary to carry out the general purpose of
Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
IT IS HEREBY DECLARE33 by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
that said City Council intends to adopt an Ordinance to effectuate the proposed
am endm ent .
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the City Attorney is instructed to
prepare an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to effectuate the amendme
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Oouncil held on the 4th day of March, 1958, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Mayor Castorena, Councilmen Ledgerwood, Robinson and Helton.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Baird.
