WHEREAS, the Planning commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 11th day of March, 1958, recommended to the City Council by their Resolutior No. 55 that the tentative map of PARADISE ESTATES, UNIT NO. 2 be approved subject to the conditions contained in Resolution No. 55 of the P lanning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 18th day of March, 1958, duly considered the recommendation of the Planning Commis- sion, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows: That the City Council does hereby approve the tentative map of PARADISE ESTATES, UNIT NO, 2, subject to the following recommenda- tions and conditions being performed by the Subdivider: 1, All buildings constructed in this subdivision are connected to the Carlsbad Public Sewer System. 2. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision comes from the Carlsbad Mutual Water Company. 3. The sewer and water lines are not laid in the same trench in any part of this subdivision. 4. Proper drainage is maintained throughout the subdivision so as to prevent ponding and/or storage of swrface water. 5. Subject subdivision is within the Carlsbad Mutual Water Company service area, is properly water stocked, and may be served upon installa- tion of 6" mains in "A" street and Canon Street, 4" main in 'Br' street, and services and meters to each lot. upon execution of agreement with the Subdivider. Installation to be done by this company 6, Fire Hydrants shall be located as follows: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 e 9 1c 11 12 It 14 It 1E 17 1E 1s 2c 21 22 2: 24 2: 2E 27 2E 29 3c 31 32 (a) Corner of Basswood Ave. and "A" at Lot #27. (b) Corner of Basswood Avenue and Canon Street - northeast. Standard 6" - Double 2 1/2" outlets firehydrants shall be installed. The map title should be changed to "RESUBDIVISION NO. 1 - 7. PATTERSON*S ADDITION TO CARLSBAD - Lots 32,33 and 34, Map No. 56 5". 8. The map shall designate the owner of the property. 9. The source of domestic water supply should be changed to "Carlsbad M utual Water Company". 10, Approximate street grades and street names should be shown. 11. All interior easements for public utilities shall have a 12-foot width. 12, All subdivision streets and improvements for existing rights of way shall be constructed to standards of the City of Carlsbad. Permanent street paving shall consist of 2 inches or more of asphaltic concrete laid upon sub- base as approved by the Engineering Department. 13. Storm water drainage facilities shall be provided as needed. Drainage shall be adequately controlled on the slopes at the terminus of the streets. Concrete cross-gutters shall be installed as needed. 14. A11 required street name signs, barricades, and safety devices shall be installed. 15, Water mains and services, sewers, and all other underground utilities shall be installed prior to paving of the streets. 16. Upon approval of the tentative map, the subdivider should prepare a revised map to show all features which have been approved. The City Clerk is hereby directed to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressing the same to Sanford J. Mock, 3200 Coldwater Canyon Avenue North Hollywood, California.
