RESOLUTION NO. 362
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
DECLARING WEEDS AND TRASH UPON CERTAIN
PROPERTIES TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE, AND
DESCRIBING SUCH PROPERTY; ORDERING THE
PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO ABATE SUCH
NUISANCES, SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR
HEARING OF OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSED
ORDER OF ABATEMENT.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as
follows:
1. That the weeds and/or trash located or growing upon the properties
within the City of Carlsbad as set forth in Exhibit "A'' attached hereto, and
made a part hereof as though fully set forth herein, are hereby declared to
be a public nuisance within the City of Carlsbad.
2. That the Public Works Director of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
instructed to abate such nuisances in accordance with the provisions of
Ordinance No. 5010-A of the City of Carlsbad.
3. That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad shall hold a hearing
at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday the 6th day of May, 1958, at
2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, for the purpose of considering all objections or protest
if any, to the proposed abatement of the nuisances.
4. In accordance with the provisions of Section 9 of Ordinance No.
5010-A the Public Works Director is hereby ordered to post a "Notice To
Abate Nuisance" upon all properties effected at least five (5) days prior
to time of hearing; and further that the Public Works Director is ordered
to send post card notices to the owners of effected property, as such owners
appeared on the last equalized assessment roll at least seven (7) days prior
to date of hearing.
5. In the event any of the nuisances herein declared have been abated
to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director by the voluntary act of the
effected property owners, their agents or employees, prior to t
hearing fixed herein, then in such event the Public Works Director is
authorized and directed to delete such abated nuisance from the enforcement

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 15th day of April, 1958, by the following vote ,
t'a wit:
AYES: Mayor Baird, Councilwoman Sonneman, Councilmen Ledgerwool
NOES: None
Helton and Lough.
ABSENT: None
