THE POSSIBILITY OF DEVELOPING THE BUENA VISTA
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
that they approve and support the communication of BUENA VISTA
RJDUBCN SOCIETY under date of March 20, 1958, wherein the Honorable
Board of Supervisors of San Diego County are urged to make a study
of the Buena Vista Lagoon with the view of having the sane set
aside either on tne County or State level as a permanent bird or
wildlife sanctuary.
SE IT FURTI-iE3 RESCLV5D that the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad stands ready to cooperate with the Board of Supervisors of
our County in making said study and givinf; assistance in whatever
steps are required, in making said Buena Vista Lagoon a wildlife
sanctuary.
PASSED, APP;IOVED aTD ADGPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad held on the 21st day of April,
1958, by the following vote:
AYES : Mayor Baird, Councilmen Ledgerwood, Helton, Lough and Councilwoman Sonneman.
NOES: None
