BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
classification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to
effectuate the change of zone classification.
XESOLUTION NO. 372
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS
AND DECISION REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE
CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY KNOWN AS
PACIFIC PLAZA FROM ZONE R-A TO ZONE

WHEREAS, on the 8th day of April, the Carlsbad City Planning Commis.
sion adopted Resolution No. 60, which is herewith referred to and made a
part hereof; and
WEREAS, on May 6, 1958 a duly advertised public hearing was held
as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-A to Zone
C-2 of property described as:
The Northeast corner of the City of Carlsbad bounded
on the East by El Camino Real, on the North by the City limits of Carlsbad, on the West by the Hosp Tract,
and on the south by a parallel line approximately 1700
feet south of the north City limits;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard
all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classi-
fication.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
P lanning Commission contained in Resolution No. 60 constitute the findings

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 6th day of May, 1958, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Mayor Baird, Councilmen Ledgerwood, Helton, Lough and
Councilwoman Sonneman.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
