RESOLUTION NO. 429
A RESOLUTION OF APPRE;CIATIQN TO ELWOOD E, TRASK, A MEMBER OF
c THE MAYOR'S ADVISORY COM,MITTE,E,
WHEBEAS, the Mayor of the City of Carlsrbad, with the approval.of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, did on the 14th day of May, 1958, appoint
a Mayor's Advisory Commit&? for the purpose of reviewing the administrative
procedure of the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Advisory Committee held multiple meetings,
one public hearing and many conference6 with City officials of the City of
Carl sbad and other cities in the $tate of California; and
WHEREAS, the inquiry and investigation of the Mayor '8 Advisory
Committee has been deta4led and exhaustive; and
WNEREAS, the consideration, devotion and insight of the committee of
the May~r'e Advisory Conrunittee has demonstrated o keen insight into the
mechanics and functional operation of municipal gove_rment; and
WKEREAS, the conclusions and recommendations reached by the Mayor'a
Advisory Committee reprewent a studied and enlightened report prepared by
conscientious citizens who have responded to the challenge of civic responsi-
bility; and
WEREAS, ELWOOD E. TRASK, has served ably and conscientiously
upon the Maywfs Advilsory C~~nmfetee;
BUW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. That the official thank8 and appreciation of the City of
Carlsbad is hereby warmly extended to ELWOOD El. TRASM far his work and
services performed on the MIEL~Q'T~S Advisory Committee.
Section 2. That a certified ccrpy of this resolution be delivered to
ELWOOD E. TRASK by the City Clerk of: the City of Carlsbad.
