WHEEZEAS, thia City Council of the City df Carlrsbad has ordered
certain sanitary sewer work or b%-qm"snent, said work or Improvement
being more particularly demribed in itst Resolution No. 449, adopted by thirs
City Council on October 21, 1058; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has as;certained the general prevailing
rata of per diem wages in the locality in which said work fa to be performed
ajnd this City Council ha8 ascertained the general prevailing rate for legal
holiday and overtime work in mid locality for each craft or type of vvorkmlan
needed to execute said contract;

OVEBTIME: 'Not less than arm am3 ot~e-hdf times the above prevailing rates of per diem wages shall be paid for overtime work performed on Sundays and legal holidays, 85 defined in Section 6700 of the California Government Code, for work performed in exceras of eight hours in any one calendar day where overtime is permitted by law.
