RESOLUTION NO. 468
RESOLUTION OF Tl3E CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION BGARDING CHANGE OF ZOWE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIH DESIGNATED
PROPERTY IN ?HE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-2 TO ZONE R-3.
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of October, 1958, the Carlsbad Ciq
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 91, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
T!EIEREAS, on December 2, 1958 8 duly advertised public hearing
was held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from
Zone R-2 to Zone R-3 of property described as:
Lots 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, 3lock *QW, PriLfsades; in the City of Carlsbad; and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block of Carlsbad; Palisades, in the Clw
and
VJEEREBX, the City Council received all recommendations and
heard all persons interested in or opposed to tbe proposed change
of zone classification,
NOW, THEREFOBE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
DOES HEREBY DECLARE FTHDII\TGS ARD RESOLVE that the findings of tb
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 91 constitute the
findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE I!F FURTHE33 DECLARED AWD RESOLVED that the CitJr Council
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classi-
fication is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance
No, 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTRER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
declare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the
proposed change of zone classification.
BE IT FURTW DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance Bo,
9060 to effectuate the change of zone classffication,

PASSED, APPROVED ASD ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 2nd day of December, 1958, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
