RESOLUTION NO. 476
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANIUOUXCIMG FIXDINGS ANI DECISION REGARDIXG CHAXGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CEElTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IW THE CITY OF CARLSBAE FROM ZONE R-P TO ZONE C-2
RH€ZREAS, on the 10th day of June, 1958, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission aaopted Resolution No. 72, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
IV'€EREBS, on January 6, 1959 a duly advertised public hearing
was held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification
from Zone R-P to Zone C-2 of property described as:
The Easterly half of the 17.20 feet of Lot 31 and the Easterly half of Lot 32, Seaside Lands;
and
EHEEZEAS, the City Council received all recommendations and
heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change
of zone classification.
NOT, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
DOES BEREBY DECWE FIhQIXGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 72 constitute the
findings of' the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLAmD ADD RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of tb proposed change of zone classi-
fication is nsceasary to carrg out the general purpose of Ordinance
No, 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
declare its intention to adopt an ordjnance to effectuate the
proposed change of zone classification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare 821 ordinance amending Ordinance No,
9060 to effectuate the change of zone classification.

PASSED, APPROVED ANC, ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 20th day of January, 1959, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
AYES: Ikyor Ledgerwood, Counollmen Grober and Pielton, and Cowoilwoxen Sonnenan and Coats. NOES: None
ABSENT: None
