RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGAIDING CHANCE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE C-2 TO ZONE 8-3
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of December, 1958, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 100 which is herewith referred
to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on January 20, 1959 a duly advertised public hearing
was held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone C-2
to Zone 33-3 of property described as:
The South side of Oak Street between Lincoln Street and Washington Street, also described as Parcels I,
2X3,, 2A, 2B and 2C in Tax Assessors' Book No. 35,
Page 32 of San Diego County, portion of Tract 99, Carlsbad Lands, in the City of Carlsbad;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and
heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone
cl-as sif ic at ion.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
DOES HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 100 constitute the findings
of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
declare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change
of zone class if icat ion.
BE IT FURTHER DECURED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060
to effectuate the change of zone classification.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 20th day of January, 1959, by the following vote,

to wit:
AYES: Hayor Ledgerwood, Courzcrilmen Grober and Heltomz,
and Councilwomen-Sonnemag and Coats. NOES: None
