HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959-01-20; City Council; Resolution 484L 2 3 4 a 9 10 32 12 13 14 15 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 7 Cd c c r c RESOLUTION NO. 484 RZSOLUTIUN OF THE CARWBAD CITY COUNCIL APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP OF LINMAR VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 13th day of January, 1959 recommended to the City Council that the entative map of LINMAR VILLAGE be approved, subject to the conditions iereinafter enumerated in this resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 20th lay of January, 1959 considered the recommendations of the Planning Com- nis sion; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the 3ty of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative nap of Linmnar Village, subject to the following requirements and conditions ieing performed by the Subdivider: 1. The tentative map is in compliance with the technical require- nents of the Subdivision Ordinance. 2. All lots appear to have sufficient area and lot frontage for the R-I, 6, 000 square foot zone. 3. All new subdivision streets and improvements for existing rights 2f way or dedications along rights of way shall be constructed to the standards 3f the City of Carlsbad. 3f asphaltic concrete laid upon sub-base approved by The Department of Public Services. Permanent street paving shall consist of 2" or more Where there is paving to match existing roadways, the new laving shall join the existing paving at design grade. 4. lf lots 1, 12 and 13 for future street purposes. That the subdivider offer to dedicate the most northerly 12' 5. Tamarack Avenue is shown on the Master Street Plan adopted ly the Planning Commission by Resolution No. 12, and adopted by the City 2ouncil by Resolcition No, 276, as a major street and, therefore, 84 feet wide. Linmar Lane is shown on the tentative m-ap as a 50 foot street and slopes and extends to the south line of the property so that it might be extended at some future time in a southerly direction. In view of the lack of any proposed subdivision to the south, it is required that for a 50 foot street, it be widened at the south and similar to a cul de sac for the purpose of turning around; that the subdivider dedicate a 1 foot buffer strip at the south end of Linmar Lane; and that drainage of this street to the south be provided for over the privately owned property on the south in a manner satisfactory to the City Engineer. 7. All lots should be adequately graded to prevent ponding within the subdivision and to provide for adequate street drainage. 8. All required street name signs, barricades, and safety devices shall be installed in the subdivision. 9. The subdivider shall allow a sufficient deposit to plant the street trees in accordance with the requirements of the City of Carlsbad. 10. Water mains and services, sewers and laterals and all other underground utilities shall be installed prior to the paving of the streets, The municipal water system will have to be extended into This new construction must conform to the standards of the 11. Sewer services as indicated on the tentative map will be adequate and must conform to the standards of the City of Carlsbad. 13, All improvements required of the subdivider to be installed and dedicated to the City of Carlsbad shall be described in improvement plans approved by the Department of Public Services, and no construction shall commence until such plans are approved. 14. One (I) standard 6" fire hydrant shall be located at the corner of Linmar Lane and Tamarack Avenue.
