RESOLUTION OF 32Vi'mTlOPtJ OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD TO MODIFY TKEl EdLASTER PARK PLAN OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, BY EXCLUDING CEl3TA.IX ARW THEREFR
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of November, 1957, the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad adopted Resolution No. 312 entitled "Resolution of the City
of Carlsbad adopting a Master Park Plan for the City of Carlsbad"; and
WHEREAS, since said datB the City of Carlsbad has received a request
for amendment of said Master Park Plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 65501 of the Government Code of the
State of California, the Planning Commission is required tu hold a hearing
on the proposed amendment, and pursuant to Section 65509 the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad is required to hold one hearing on the action of the
Planning Commission with respect to the proposed amendmept.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
SECTION 1. IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND DECLARED to be the
intention of the City of Carlsbad to consider the amendment of the Master
Park Plan of the City of Carlsbad by deleting therefrom the following described
property:
All of Lots 15 and 16, of Optimo Tract, according to Map thereof No. 1805 filed in the office of the
Councy Recorder of San Diego County, EXCEPTING
therefrom any and all properties conveyed to the
State of California for freeway or roadway purposes.
The foregoing property is also described as Parcel No. 35-80-16 and Parcel No, 35-80-17 of the Assessor's Map of the County of San Diego.
SECTION 2. The Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad is
hereby directed to hold a hearing on the proposed amendment pursuant to the
provisions of Section 65501 to 65507 of the Government Code of the State of
California.

of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 3rd day of
February, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Grober, Sonneman, Ledgerwood and Coats.
