RESOLUTION NO. 490
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
APPROVING PLANNING COMMISSION'S
INTERPRETATION OF PERMITTED LOCATION OF WATER SOFTNER PLANTS.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the
27th day of January, 1959, adopted Resolution No. 104 entitled "A Resolution
of the Carlsbad City Planning Commission recommending clarification of
Zoning as it applies to water softner plants in C-M Zones"; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1502 of Ordinance No. 9060, the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad has mnsidered the contents of
of the Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Resolution No. 104 of the Planning Commission is hereby approved
2. That water softner plants be allowed in C-&!I Zones provided the
water softner regeneration effluent shall be discharged into a storm drain.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad held on the 3rd day of February, 1959,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Grober, Sonneman, Ledgerwood and Coats.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Helton
