RESOLUTION NO, 556.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DEC GARDING
CKBNGE-OF ZONE CATION OF
CERTATN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF LSBAD FROM ZONE R-1 TO ZONE
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of May, 1959, the Carlsbad City Planning
Zommission adopted Resolution No, 115 which is herewith referred to and
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on June 2, 1959, a duly advertised public hearing was held
3s prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-1 to Zone
R-3 of property described as:
A portion of Lot I, Section I, Township 12 South, Range 5 West, in the City of Carlsbad, being Tax Assessor's Parcels 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22x1, 22A, 23A, 23x1, 24Aand24X1,
Book 35, Page 171, of the Assessor's Map of
San Diego County;

WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all
persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RJSOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. I15 constitute the findings
of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE rT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
classification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND. ORDERED that the City Attorney is
hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to
effectuate the change of zone classification.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 2nd day of June, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Grober, Sonneman, Ledgerwood, McPherson and Coats . NOES None
ABSENT: None
