RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE CANVASS OF ELECTION RETURNS OF ELECTION HELD IN
SAID CITY ON JULY 28, 1959
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER
as follows:
Section 1, That a special B[pgi#dt election was
duly called and regularly held in said city on the 28th
day of July 1959 at which election there were
submitted to the qualified voters of said city the
following propositions, to wit:
PROPOSITION W - WATER REVENUE BONDS: Shall the City of Carlsbad issue water revenue bonds in the principal sum of $300,000 for the acquisition, construction and financing of extensions, enlargements and improvements of the water system of said city, including works and facilities for the storage, transmission and distribu- tion of water, the reconstruction of parts of said system, and the acquisition of land, easements, rights of way and other property necessary therefor, and including all engineering, inspection and legal fees, costs of the issuance of said revenue bonds, bond reserve funds, and other costs and expenses incidental to or connected with such acquisition, construction and financing?
PROPOSITION R - SEWER FUND ORDINANCE: Shall the ordinance, the nature of which is stated in the title thereof, to wit:

be adopted?
Section 2. Thab the returns of said election
have been duly and regularly canvassed by this City
Council as provided by law, and all absentee ballots
received have been counted and canvassed as provided
by law.
Section 3. That the votes cast in the precincts
established for said election upon said propositions and
for and against said propositions, the absentee votes cast
upon said propositions and for and against said proposi-
tions, and the total votes cast at said election for and
against said propositions and upon said propositions are
as follows:

Section 4, That the votes of more than a
majority of all the voters voting upon Proposition W
at said election were cast in favor of the adoption
of said bond proposition, and said bond proposition
is hereby declared to be carried, and this City
Council is authorized to issue bonds for the purposes
stated therein as provided by law.
Section 5. That the votes of more than a
majority of a11 the voters voting upon Proposition R
at said election were cast in favor of the adoption
of said proposition, and said proposition is hereby
declared to be carried.
Section 6. That the City Clerk of this City
is hereby directed to enter this resolution in full in
the minutes of this City Comcil,
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th
day Of August
