A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, APPROVING THE TESITATIVE MAP OF BAL1 I-IAX ' 4 TERRACE SUBDIVISION, WHEREAS, the Planning commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 8th u day of September, 1959, recommended to the City Council that the tentative map of Bali Hai Terrace Subdivision be disapprovedl and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 15th day of September, 1959, considered the recommendation of the Planning Commission NOW, THEREFORE, BE LT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, that the City Counc4 does hereby approve said tentative map of BALI HAI TERRACE SUBDIVISION, subject to the following requirements and conditions being performed by the Subdivider: 1. The tentative subdivision complies with the subdivision ordinance. 2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision shall be connected to the Carlsbad sewer system, and the subdivider shall install an 8" sewer main. 3. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall be supplied by the Carlsbad City Water Department, and the subdivider shall install. a 6" transite water main, and the necessary services to each lot. 4. That two (2) standard 6" fire hydrants, one (1) at the corner of Tamarack Avenue and one (1) at the end of "A" Street, shaU be installed. 5. That the street width as shown on the tentative map shall be increase to 36 feet between curbs. 6. That "G" type curbs without sidewalks be installed, and two (2) inche of A. C. pavement with seal coat shall be laid, with the sub-grade being prepared to comply with at least 90% compaction as indicated by actual com- paction tests. This paving shall be extended to the center line of Tamarack Avenue. 7. The sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench in any part of this subdivision. 8. That an easement be procured over the existing sewer easement for purposes of drainage, and that this drainage be placed in a pipe of sufficient P i 7 C 4 F e r I I 1( 1: 1: 1: 11 I 11 1' 1 1 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 c 1 c 9 c 0 \ size to take care of the drainage water. 9. That the power pole lines be located in the public street as requested iy the San Diego Gas and Electric Company in view of the irregularities of ;he subdivision boundaries. 10. All underground utilities to be laid in the subdivision street shall 3e laid prior to the paving of the street. 11. Proper drainage to be maintained throughout the subdivision so as to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water. 12. All improvements required of the subdivider to be installed and dedicated to the City of Carlsbad shall be described in improvement plans approved by the City Engineer, and no construction shall commence until such plans are approved. BE TI' FURTHER RESOLVED th@ the City Clerk is hereby directed to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map.
