RESOLUTION NO. 596.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGAEEDXNG
IN THE CITY OF CAFLLSBAD TO ZONE tt,M";
ION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of September, 1959, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No, 133, which is herewith referred
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on October 6, 1959, a duly advertised public hearing was
held as prescribed by law to consider the chssification to Zone '%I" of
property described as:
A portion of Lot K and a portion of
Unnumbered Lot North of Lot J, Rancho
Agua Hedionda, according to Map 823, in the City of CarXsbad, and being the most easterly 75.64 acres of Tax Assessorls Parcel 4, Book 7ORA, Page 13s of the Assessorfs Map of San Diego County;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard
all persons Fnterested in or opposed to the prop classification,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Councjl of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 133 constitute the findings
of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the zone classification is necessary to carry out
the general purpose of Ordinance MQ, 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed zone classification
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Atkarney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060

to effectuate this zone classification.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 6th day of October 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:

ABSENT: Councilwoman Coats.
Councilmen Grober, Sonneman, Ledgerwood and McPherson.
