RESOLUTION NO. 601
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF !WE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECW- ING THE RESULT OF THE CANVASS OF ELEC- TION RETURNS OF ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON OCTOBER 13, 1959.
The City Council of the City Of Carlsbad,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDm
as follows:
Section 1. That a special bond election was
duly called and regularly held in said city on the 13th
day of October, 1959, at which election there was sub-
mitted to the qualified voters of' said city the follow-
ing proposition, to wit:
SEWER BOND fROPOSITION: Shall the, City of Carlsbad incur a bonded indebted- ness in the principal swn of $1,200,000 for the acquisition and construction by said city of a certain municipal improve- ment, to wit: additions to the sanitary sewage collection, treatment and disposal system of said city, including interceptor and trunk sewers, ocean outfall sewer, pumping stations, new sewage treatment plants, additions to the existing treat- ment plant, and for the foregoing appurte- nances and works appurtcinant thereto, including the acquisition of all land, easements, rights of way, pipe, pumps, machinery and other property necessary therefor?

have been duly and regularly canvassed by this City
Council as provided by law, and all absentee ballota
received have been counted and canvassed as provided
by law.
Section 3. That the votes cast in the precincts

Section 4. That the votes of less than two-
thirds of all the voters voting at said election were
calst in favor of the adoption of said bond proposition,
and said bond proposition is hereby declared to have
failed to carry at said election,
Section 5. That the City Clerk of this City
is hereby directed to enter this resolution in full in
the minutes of this City Council.
