RESOLUTION NO. 607
A RESOLUTION OF THE CZTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DETERMINING THE GENERaL
PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIE24 WAGES.
(Assessment District No. 3-1958)
MiERW, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad did upon the 6th day
of October, 1959, adopt plans and specifitations for the construction of sanitary
sewers and appurtenances and appurtenant work in Skyline Road 280' north of
Alder Avenue, to the South boundary of Carlsbad Highlands No. 2; Alder Avenue
171.21' west of the intersection with Skyline Road; birch Avenue 204.31' west
of the intersection with Skyline Road; Clearview Drive 419' north of the south
boundary of Carlsbad Highlands No. 2 and easements along the southerly boundary
of Carlsbad Highlands No. 2 from Skyline Road to Sunnyhill Drive; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has ascertained the general prevailing rate
of per diem wages in the locality in which said work is to be performed and
this City Council has ascertained the general prevailing rate for legal holiday
and overtime work in said locality for each craft or type of workman needed to
execute said contract;
NOH, THMZEFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER A!S follows:
Section 1. That the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the
locality in which said work is to be performed for each craft or type of
workman needed to execute the contract for said work is determined to be as
follows, to wit:

In accordance with the provisions
regulations of the California Apprenticeship Council, properly indentured
apprentices my be employed in the prosecution of the work.

Section 2, Said general prevailing rates shall be specified in the call
for bids for said contract and in the contrzct itself.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on the IlSt day of December, 1959, by the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on said date,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Sonneman, Ledgerwood, McYherson, La Roche.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Grober
