RESOLUTION NO. 626
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGC
TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD , RELATING TO THE
CONDUCT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECT ION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 12 19s. 9
WHEREAS, a general municipal election is to be April 12, 19 60. -’ held in the City of Carlsbad on
WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election
and in relation thereto it will be necessary to mail sample ballots
and polling place cards to the registered voters of the City, and it will facilitate such mailing if the Registrar of Voters of the
County of will prepare and furnish the City the
imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters of
said City on mailing labels or stickers furnished by the City;

WHEREAS, all necessary ex ense in performing this service shall be paid by the City of garlsbad
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as
follows:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of
Section 9483 of the Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit the Registrar of Voters to prepare and
furnish to said City, for use in conducting said election to be held on Anril 12 , 192, the imprinting of the names and
addresses of the registered voters of said City, on mailing labe or stickers furnished by the City.

SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said
County for services performed when the work is completed and upon presentatinn to the City of a properly approved bill.
That the City Clerk is hereby directed
to forward without delay to said Board of Supervisors and to said Registrar of Voters, each a certified copy of this resolution.
SECTION 3.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of
January 9 19&.
