A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARFSBAD APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP OF MAGNOLIA HILLS, WHERM, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 12th day of January, 1960, recommended to the City Council that the tentative map of MAGNOLIA HILLS be approved, subject to the conditions hereinafter enumerated in this resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 19th day of January, 1960, considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approved said tentative map of MAGNOLIA HILLS, subject to the following requirements and conditions being performed by the Subdivider; 1. That aJl buildings in this subdivision be connected to the Carisbad public sewer system. 2. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall be supplied by the Carlsbad City Water Department. 3. The sewer and water Lines shall not be laid in the same trench in any part of this subdivision. 4. Proper drainage will be maintained throughout the subdivision so as to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water. 5. Two (2) standard 6' fire hydrants to be installed as follows: (a) One at the northwesterly corner of Lot 7. (b) One at the southeasterly corner of Lot 14. 6. a subdivision streets and improvements for existing rights -of -way shall be constructed to the standards of the City of Carlsbad. 7. All required street names signs, barricades, and safety devices shal be installed. 8, Water mains and services, sewers, and all other underground utilities shall be installed prior to paving of streets. 9. The cul de sac at the northerly end of Magnolia Place be deleted and an 8' drainage easement on the easterly boundary of Lots 1 through '7 be provided for. 11, That the right-of-way be reduced from 60' to 50' in view of the fact that this is a hillside street. 12. That the name of Magnolia Place be changed to a name to be approve1 by the Planning Commission. 13. That a 1' by 50' wide parcel at the north end of Magnolia Place, to be known as Lot "A" be dedicated to the City of Carlsbad not for public use. 14. That a grading plan be submitted to the City Engineer as may be required. 15. That a copy of the final subdivision map be forwarded to the Carlsbal U, S, Post Office by the subdivider. 16. Kfl improvements required of the subdivider to be installed and dedicated to the City of Carlsbad shall be described in improvement plans approved by the Department of Public Services, and no construction shall commence until such plans are approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to place a copy of this resolution in the usuaY course of mail, addressed to the subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map, PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 19th day of January, 1960.
