HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960-02-02; City Council; Resolution 629-Aa 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO. 62 9 A RESOLUTION OF TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE %CITY OF CAKLSBAD AIp?&OVING TENTATIVE MAP OF AVOLOMA HEIGHTS. the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 26th day of January, 1960, recommended to the City Council that the tentative map of AVOLOFIA HEIGHTS be approved, subject to the conditions hereinafter enumerated in this resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 2nd day of February, 1960, considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative map of AVOLOMA. HEIGHTS, subject to the following requirements and conditions being performed by the Subdi vi der: 1. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall be supplied by the Carlsbad City Water Department. 2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision will be connected to the Carlsbad pub1 ic sewer system. 3. The sewer and water lines will not be laid in the same trench in any part of this subdivision. 4. Proper drainage will be maintained throughout the subdivision so as to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water. 5. Street roadway width for Baldwin Lane, as shown on the tentative map as 32 feet between curbs, must be increased to 36 feet. 6, The full 50 feet of right-of-way width of Baldwin Lane shall be ex- tended to the southerly subdivision boundary, eliminating the permanent turn- around, and a 1 foot by 50 foot barrier strip at the southerly end, to be known as Lot rtA'9, will be dedicated to the City of Carlsbad but not for public use. 7. An 8's sewer main shall be extended from offsite location at Harbor Drive and Chinquapin Avenue to the westerly subdivision in Chinquapin Avenue to the easterly boundary, and in Baldwin Lane to the southerly boundary with the necessary laterals to each lot, Also, a 6'9 transite water main shall be placed in Baldwin Lane with all necessary 1" copper services to each and every lot in the subdivision. boundary, then onsite 9. The subdivider will furnish the U. S. Post Office, Carlsbad, Californi: with a copy of the final subdivision map. 13, All improvements required of the subdivider to be installed and dedi- cated to the City of Carlsbad shall be described in improvement plans approved by the City Engineer, and no construction shall cmence until such plans are approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVZD that the City Clerk is hereby directed to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map. PASSED, APF'OVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 2nd day February, 1960.
