RESOLUTION NO. 636
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAR FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD TO ZONE R-A,
D ANNOUNCING
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of January, 1960, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission adopted Resolution of Intention No. 13, which is herewith
referred to a ade a part hereof; and
bJSv 1960, a duly advertised public hearing was
hald as prescribed by law to consider the classification to Zone R-A of
property described as:
That property known as ltEast, Carlsbad Annexation 82,l" in the City of Carlsbad,
EXCEPTING therefrom a portion of Lot K
and a portion of Lot J, Rancho Agua
Hedionda, according to Map 823 in the
City of Carlsbad, and being the most
easterly 75.64 acres of Tax Assessor's
Parcel 4, Book 70R.A, Page 13, of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard
a31 persons interested in or opposed to the proposed zone classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 150 constitute the findings
of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the zone classification is necessary to carry out
the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended,
BE IT FURTHER IRESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed zone classification
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 15th day of March, 1960, by the following vote, to WL
AYES: Councilmen Grober, Sonneman, Ledgerwood, McPherson and
NOES: None
