HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960-05-03; City Council; Resolution 6391 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 22, 24 25 26 27 28 29 3c 31 3% RESOLUTION NO. 639 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF R-1-15 TO %CINE R-1-10, WHEREAS, on the 8th day of March, 1960, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 152, which is herewith referred to and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, on April 5, 1960 a duly advertised public hearing was held by the City Council as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification, and at that time by motion of the Council the matter was continued to May 3, 1960; and WHEREAS, on May 3, 1960 a duly advertised public hearing was held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-1-15 to R-1-10 of property described as: Property located on the East side of Park Drive, between Monroe Street and the intersection of Hillside and Park Drive, bordered on the East by the rear lot lines of lots on the West side of Sunnyhill Drive, more particularly described as a portion of Lot I, Rancho Agua Hedionda, according to Map 823 and Miscellaneous Map 231 in the City of Carlsbad, and being Tax Assessor's Parcel 4x5, Book 35, Page 105, of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County, and WmRW, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classifica- tion. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 152 constitute the findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is necessary to carry 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 1'1 18 19 20 23 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVZD that the City Council does hereby declare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone classification. BE IT FURTKER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to effectuate the change of zone classification. APSSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 3rd day of May, 1960, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, Sonneman, WIePherson and La Roche NOES: None ABSENT: None <;of the City of Carlsbad, (' ! !
