RESOLUTION OF THE CIT
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
FINDINGS AND REGARDING CHANGE OF 2 IFICATION OF CErtTAIN DESIGNATED P
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE 33-P TO ZONE C-2,
WISEREAS, on the 12th day of April, 1960, the Carlsbad City Planning
Commission adopted Resolution No. 156, which is herewith referred to and
made a part hereof; and
WHl3REAS, on May 3, 1960 a duly advertised public hearing was held
as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone E-P to
Zone C-2 of the following described property, V.€I ich hearing was continued
to May 17, 1960:
Property located on the East side of Harding Street between Grand Avenue and Elm Avenue, being Lots 5 and 6,
Block 67, Carlsbad Townsite, more
particularly described as Tax Assessor's Parcels 20 and 21, Book 35, Page 27 of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County,
and
WKEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard
all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classifica-
tion.
NOW, TKEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 15 6 constitute the findings
of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
declare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of
zone class if ication.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney

is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060
to effectuate the change of zone classification.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADO
City Council held on the 17th day of May, 1960, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, Sonneman, McPherson and La Roc
