RESOLUTION NO. 653
RESOLUTION OF THE: CITY COUNCIL OF LSBAD DIRECTING PLA;wS ABD SPECIFI- CATIONS AND DESIGNATEJG ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS,
(Proposed Assessment District No. 1-1960)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, that the
said City Council proposes to cause to be improved in the City of Carlsbad,
County of San Diego, State of California, the following streets or purlic ways,
to wit:
The construction of 5' P. C. C. sidewalk, concrete combi- nation curb and gutter, sewer laterals, concrete retain- ing walls, and resetting of fences, in Chestnut Avenue from its intersection with Pi0 Pic0 Drive to a point 123.50 feet east of the centerline of Monroe Street;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
that CLYDE L, JENKEN, Engineer of the City of Carlsbad, be and he is
hereby directed to prepare plans and specifications for said proposed work; and
BE IT FURTHEX RESOLVED that the proceedings for such work shall
be taken in accordance with the provisions of the 'knprovement Act of 1911"
under Resolution of Intention to be hereafter adopted,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said CLYDE L, JENKEN, be and
he is hereby directed to prepare a map showing the boundaries and the district
to be assessed for the said proposed work and improvement.
BE IT FURTEEER RESOLVED that CLYDH L. JENKEN, is hereby
directed to denominate said plans, "Plans for Improvements in Agsessment
District No, 1-1960", and that said Engineer shall designate said specifications
for such proposed improvements, Specifications for Improvements in Assess- I1
ment District No. 1-1960".
PASSED, APPPGOVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 8th day of June, 1960, by the

AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, Sonneman and McPherson.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
