RESOLUTION NO. 654.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPtLSBAD APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP OF LAGUNA TERRACE SUB DIVISION.
WHERE.ll,S, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 24th
day of May, 1960, recommended to the City Council that the tentative map of
LAGUNA TERRACEt be approved subject to the conditions hereinafter
enumerated ia this resolution; and
W the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 8th day of
June, 1960, considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative
map of LAGUNA TERRACE SUBDIVISION, subject to the following requiremenl
and conditions being performed by the Subdivider:

Carlsbad City Water System.
2, All buildings constructed in this subdivision are to be connected to
the public sewer system of the City of Carlsbad,
3. Proper drainage shall be maintained throughout the subdivision so as
to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water,
4. Sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench in any
part of the subdivision.
5. The power and telephone poles shall be located in the streets.
6, The street labeled ''I" street at its intersection with Park Drive
crosses lands not owned by the subdivider and owner, Some arrangements
must be made to open this street as shown.
7. All subdivision streets and improvements for existing rights-of way
shall be constructed to the standards of the City of Carlsbad. Besides these
usual improvements, and 8" water main shall be installed on "I" street. All
other streets shall have 6" water mains.
8, The subdivider shall provide street trees on all streets in the
subdivision.

9, All required street name signs, barricades and safety devices shall
be installed in this subdivision,
10. Arrangements shall be made for a storm sewer system to prevent
erosion and damage to properties receiving run-off in this area,
11. A grading plan will be submitted to the Engineering Department for
approval.
12. Standard 6" fire hydrants shall be installed at the corner of the
following streets: B & K; A & J; K & D; E & I; I & H; E & H; I & €3; also
one (I) standard 6" fire hydrant shall be installed at the property line between
Lots 62 and 63 on "C" Street.
13. The subdivider will furnish the U. $. Post Office, Carlsbad, Californ:
with a copy of the final subdivision map.
14. All improvements required of the subdivider to be installed and
dedicated to the City of Carlsbad shall be described in improvement plans
approved by the City Engineer, and no construction shall be commenced until
such plans are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to
place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the
subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 8th day
of June, 1960.
