HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960-07-19; City Council; Resolution 665B 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO, 665 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP OF LAS FLQRES PLACE SUBDIVJSION. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 12th day of July, 1960, recommended to the City Council that the tentative map of LAS FLORES PLACE SUBDTVISfON be approved, subject to the conditions hereinafter enumerated in this resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 19th day of July, 1960, considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOL by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative map of LAS FLORES PLACE SUBDIVISION, subject to the following requirements and conditions being performed by the Subdivider: 1, That the tentative subdivision complies with the subdivision ordinancf 2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision are to be connected to the public sewer system of the City of Carlsbad, 3. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall come from the Carlsbad City Water System. 4. Proper drainage shall be maintained throughout the subdivision so as to prevent ponding and/ or storage of surface water, 5. Sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench in any part of the subdivision. 6, The power and utility poles shall be located according to agreement between the City Engineer and the Subdivider, 7. One (I) standard 6-inch fire hydrant (1 - 4", 1 - 2-112'' outlets) shall be installed at the corner of Forest Avenue and Spruce Street, 8. A grading plan shall be submitted to the Engineering Department for their approval. 9, A water main shall be installed to service the subdivision, the size and location of which shall be determined by the City Engineer and the Subdivide 10, The Subdivider shall provide street trees as required by Ordinance No. 9050 of the City of Carlsbad. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 2: 2; 24 2: 2t 2: 2E 2c 3( 3: 3: 11. Sidewalks to be installed in accordance with improvement plans to )e approved by the Engineering Department. 12. All required street name signs, barricades and safety devices shall >e installed in this subdivision. 13. All suklivision streets and improvements for existing rights-of-way shall be constructed to the standards of the City of Carlsbad. 14, All improvements required of the subdivider to be installed and dedi cated to the City of Carlsbad shall be described in improvement plans approved by the City Engineer, and no construction shall be commenced until such plans are approved. 15. The subdivider shall furnish the U, S. Postoffice, Carlsbad, Califor with a copy of the final subdivision map. BE IT FURTEER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map, PASSED, APPROVED AMD ADUPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 19th day of July, 1960, AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, Sonneman and McPherson, NOES: None ABSENT: Councilman La Roche.
