RESOLUTION NO. 687
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FINDINGS AND DECTSIOM REGARDING
DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN OF ZONE CLASSPICATION OF
TIlE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-1 TO ZONE R-3,
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of hgust, 1960, the Carlsbad City Planing
Commission adopted Resolution No, 175, which is herewith referred to and
made a part hereof; and
WHERW, on September 20, 1960 a duly advertised public hearing was
held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-2 to
Zone R-3 of the following described property:
Parcel I, Page 133, Book 35 of the
Assessor's Map of San Diego Councy,
and being a portion of Tract 231, Thum
Lands, according to Map 1681 in the
City of Carlsbad;
and
WHERE%.& the City Council received all recommendations and heard all
persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classification,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
IEEREBY DZCLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 175 constitute the findings
of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No, 9060 as amended,
BE IT FURTHEXi RESOLVED that tk City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
classification.
BE IT FURTKER DECLARED AND ORDER333 that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No, 9060
to effectuate the change of zone classification.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
