HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960-10-18; City Council; Resolution 697% CL- c 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 3.6 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 * A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CUUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP OF V E HOWRES UNIT NU. 3 SUBDIWIO WITEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 11th day of October, 1960, recommended to the City Council that the tentative map of VILLAGE HOMES UEJIT NO. 3 be approved, subject to the conditions hereinafter enumerated in this resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 18th day of October, 1960, considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative map of VILLAGE HOMES UNIT NO. 3, subject to the following requirements and conditions being performed by the Subdivider: 1. All buildings constructed in this subdivision are to be connected to / the public sewer system of the Ci$y of Carlsbad. 2. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision comes from the Carlsbad City Water Company. 3. Sewer and water lines are not to be laid in the same trench in any part of this subdivision. 4. Proper drainage is to be maintained throughout the subdivision sb as to prevent panding and/or storage of surface water. 5, One (1) standard 61f fire hydrant (I-4" 1-2 1/2" outlets) located at the corner of Chestnut and Marjorie Lane. 6. The map title shall be sub-titled TRACT 250 - THUM LANDS RESUBDIVISION NO, 1. 7. Approximate street grades shall be shown. 8. All street widths and lot sizes shall comply with existing city ordi- nance s . 9. Sewer main in Marjorie Lane will be at such a shallow grade in relation to existing elevations of lots 4 through 6 that these lots will require fill, therefore a Grading Plan and permit will be required. & 4 -' 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 e 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 10. All required street name signs, barricades and safety devices shall be installed, 14, Both city water and sewer mains are available to service all the lots, provided the necessary water mains and sewers are laid in the street as shown on this tentative map, It is recommended that a 6" sewer main be laid in this street and a 6" transite water main be laid from the existing 8" main in Chestnut to the onsite location of 6" fire hy at the fire hydrant take-off the onsite main may be a 41r transite water main to the end of cul-de-sac where a 4" blow-off, with necessary fittings, be installed, The location of fire hydrant to be determined by the Fire Department. 15. All underground utilities shall be laid in the subdivision street before the permanent paving is laid. 16. The power and telephone poles shall be located in the utility ease- ments provided for that purpose. 17. Street drainage shall be surface flow and the design shall be such that the flow shall be from Marjorie Lane to Chestnut Avenue. 18. The Subdivider shall furnish the U. S, Post Office, Carlsbad, California with a copy of the final subdivision map. 19.
