(Assessment District No. 2-1960) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad did upon the 4th day of October, 1960, adopt plans and specifications for the construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenances, and appurtenant work in Valley Street from Basswood Avenue to Chestnut Avenue; and WHEREAS, this City Council has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said work is to be performed, and this City Council has ascertained the general prevailing rate €or legal holiday and overtime work in said locality for each craft or type of workman needed to execute said contract; i NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: Section I, That the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said work is to be performed for each craft or type of warkman needed to execute the contract for said work is determined to be as follows, to wit: CLASSIFICATION 101 11 I LABORERS: c CEMENT MASONSj CementMason. .,, . . . , . . . 3.93 SCHEDULE OF PREVAILING WAGES OVERTIME: Not less than one and one-half times the above prevailing rates of per diem wages shall be paid for overtime work performed on Sundays and legal holidays, as defined in Section 6700 of the Califomda Government Code, for work performed in excess of eight hours in any one calendar day where PER DIEM WAGE (8-hour day) Kate per hour 25 25 27 28 29 Laborer, General or Construction . . , . , . . $ 3-08 Operators and Tendors of pneumatic and electrical tools, vibrating machines and similar tools . . . 3.28 Cribber and Shorer . . . , . , . . . . . . . 3.44 3.39 Maker and Caulker of metallic pipe joints . .. . 3.27 Flagman. .. . 8 *.* ,, . . ... . , . ..* . . . . 3.08 3.13 2.88 Watchrnan.. . . . . . . . . . .' . .. . .
