CHRISTLAXSEN, AND CATHERYN F, CHRISTLANSEN, offered to dedicate to the City of Carlsbad the following described real property for street purposes: Beginning at the East he of Tract No, 6, Laguna Mesa Tracts, Map No, 1719, distant thereon North 0" Olf 04" East 20.00 feet from the Southwest corner of said Tract 6 being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North Oo OIX-04" East 120,OO feet; thence North 89- 58? 56" East 30,OO feet; thence South O* Qlr 04" West 89.98 feet to the point uf beginning of a 20.00 foot radius curve concave Sautheasterly and having a central angle of 90° 02t 17"; thence along said curve a distance of 31.43 feet to the end of said curve; thence South 0" Olr 13" East 10.00 feet; thence South 89" 58r 47" West 50.02 feet to tlze TRUE POfNT OF BEGINNING. The above being a portion of the following described parcel of land: The Westerly 114.00 feet of the Southerly 140.00 feet of the following described parcel of land: That portion of Cedar Hill Addition to the Town of Carlsbad, in the City of Carlsbad, County of Sa Diego, State of California, according to map thereof No. 532, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego CountyF April 25, 1880, and of Spruce Street now vacated and closed to public use, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Tract No, 6 of Laguna Mesa Tract, according to Map 50, 1719 filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, June 20, 1921; thence along the East line of said Tract No. 6, South 1216.40 feet to the Southwest corner of that parcel of land described in deed to Roy F. Lennon and wife, recorded December 19, 1949, as Document Nu.. 117882 in Book 3424, Page 158 af Official Records, being the TRUE POINT OF BEGWING; thence continuing along said East Une of Tract No. 6, South 259.74 feet to the South line of said addition; thence along said South line, East 366.00 feet to the Southwest corner of that parcel of land described in deed to E, B. GEISSINGEQ. uffered to dedicate to the City of Carlsbad the following described real property for street purposes: That portion of Cedar Hills Addition to the Town of Carlsbad, according to Map thereof No, 532, filed in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County, April 25, 1888, defined as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Cedar Hills Addition,. thence running North 8gQ 26' West along the North line of said Addition 731.29 feet to the Northeast corner of Tract No. 6 of Laguna Mesa Tracts, as shown on Map thereof No, 1719; thence South along the East fie of said Tract No, 6 a distance of 1097,40 feet to the Southwesterly corner of that parcel of land described in deed to Clarence K. Brodie, et ux, recorded October 19, 1945 in Book 1971, Page 164 ~f Official Records, said point being the true point of beginning of the property herein described; thence East along the South line of said BrodieFE land being along a line parallel with the South line of said Cedar Ws Addiffon* a distance of 366 feet to a point on the West Une of land described in deed to E, B. Sutton, et ux, recorded October 5, 1944 An Book 1754, Page 175 of Official Records: thence South parallel with the East Une of said Tract No. 6 along the West line of said Suttmrs land a distance of 119 feet; thence West along a line parallel with the South line of said Cedar Hills Addition a distance of 366 feet -2- t 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 a 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 22 24 25 26 27 2E 29 3( 3: 3: to a point on the East line of said Tract No. 6; thence North dong said East line a distance of 119 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; and WHEELEAS, the owners of the above described real properties have agree to dedicate their respective real property complete with etreet improvements with the exception of sidewalks; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has approved plans and speclficatbns for said complete street improvements and the owners of said real properties have indicated they are willing to post a cash deposit pursuant to an improvement agreement to insure that they will faithfully complete the street improvements as approved by the City Engineer; and WmREAS, the public health, safety and welfare will be promoted by the acceptance of the above described real properties for street purposesj NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS lEEREBY RBSOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad that the above described real properties be accepted by thr City of Carlsbad for the publicts use and benefit. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad be, and he is hereby instructed to record the foregoing grants of real property, together with a certified copy of this resolution with the County Recorder of San Diego County, State 08 CaWornia. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 3rd day of January, 1961, by the following vote, to wit: AYES; Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, Someman, McPhersm and La Roc NOESx None ABSENT; None ATTEST] i - 3-
