A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, STATWG THEJB INTENTION TO REMOVE ALL POTENTIAL
ZONE CWSIFLCATION FROM THE ZONING
MAP: DIlEECTING THE PLANNING COMMISSION
TO HOLD A HEARING TO CONSIDER THE3
OF THE PLA”1NG COMMISSION TO AD- VERTIZE FOR THE AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE
15, SECTION 1504 OF ORDfNAHCE NO. 9060.
CHANGEj AND DlCRECTXNG THE SECRETARY
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad on its own motion
does hereby declare its intention to consider the removal of all present potential
zone classification from the zoning map for the following reason:
That the conversion by precise planning of properties
that are in potential zonee places requirements on the
owners seeking to convert the zoning of their property
that other property owners are not required to meet,
and thereby creates inequities.
SECTION 2. The Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
directed to hold a public hearing in the manner provided by law to consider the
above proposed change of zone classification.
SECTION 3. The Secretary of the Planning Commission is hereby directed
to give notice in the manner prescribed by law of the above proposed change.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, held on the 7th day of February, 1961, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, Someman, McPherson and La Roehe
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
