DESCRIBED AS A PORTION OF TRACT 252 AND 253, THUM LANDS, WP NO. 1681; DIRECTING THE PLAMNIHG COM- MISSION TO HOLD A HEARING TO CONSIDER THIS CHA.NGE AND DIRECTING THE SECRETARY OF THE PLANNING. COMMISSION TO ADVERTISE FOR THE AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 9060, c The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad on its own motion does hereby declare its intention to consider an amendment to Ordinance No. 9060, allowing a conditional use permit €or the WomanXs Club of Carlsbad's clubhouse on property described as: The Southwesterly 396 feet of the following described land: That portion of Tracts 252 and 253 of Thum Lands, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to mag thereof, No. 1681, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, December 9, 1915, described as follows: Begbning at the intersection of the center lines of Basswood Avenue and Monroe Street; thence along the center line of Monroe Street, South 28" 38' East 67.73 feet to the most southerly corner of the land conveyed by South Coast Land Company to Minnie Zhmerman by deed recorded January 30, 1939, in Book 868, Page 188 of Official Records in said Recorder's Office, and the TRUE PODTT OF BEGINNING; thence along said center line of Monroe Street, South 28" 39j east 243,17 feet to the most Westerly corner of the land conveyed by South Coast Land Company to Mrs, EUa Genevieve Yeend by deed recorded October 18, 1930, in Book 1814, page 444 of Deeds, in said Becorderfs Office; thence along the northwesterly line of said Yeend land 880.17 feet to the most northerly corner thereof; thence along the northeasterly lines of said Tracts 252 and 253 north 23a 33' west 244.14 feet to the most easterly corner of the land conveyed to Minnle Zimmerman by said deed above referred to; thence along the Southeasterly line of said Zimmerman land, south 61" 2lL west 902.92 feet more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the southeasterly 133.17 feet (measured at right angles) of the above described property. SECTION 3. The Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad is hereby directed to hold a public hearing in the manner provided by law to consider the above proposed change of zone classification. SECTION 3, The Secretary of the Planning Commission is hereby directed to give notice in the manner prescribed by law of the above proposed change. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, held on the 7th day of March, 1961, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, Sonneman, WIcPherson and La Rock NOES: None ABSENT: None ,' of the City of Carlsbad, f: .
