HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-03-07; City Council; Resolution 7291 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 1: 1E 1'; 1€ 1E 2c 21 2: 2; 2.1 2: 2( 2'; Zt 2: 3( 3: 3r RESOLUTION NO, 729 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD APPROVING TENTATIVE NL4.P OF KARREH ESTATES WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 28th lay of February, 1961, recommended to the City Council. that the tentative map ,f KARREN ESTATES be approved, subject to the conditions hereinafter :numerated in this resolution; and WHEREZBS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 7th day of barch, 1961, considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission; MOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the 2ity of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative nap of WREN ESTATES subdivision, subject to the following requirements md conditions being performed by the Subdivider: 1. That the tentative map be in compliance with the applicable City Drdknances, Resolutions and regulations. 2. That Monroe Skeet shall be improved to the center line of said street in accordance with the City of Carlsbad Engineering Departmentls standards and specifications and that the full pavement width on Magnolia be 32 feet with the curb radius in the cul-de-sac to be 42 feet. 3. Pavement shall be 2" thickness asphdtic concrete with chip seal. 4. Sidewalks shall be installed on the subdivision side of Monroe Street In accordance with City of Carlsbad plans and specifications, 5. Water and sewer mains and service shall be installed to provide service to each lot, 6, Drainage from the lots to the streets shall be only as approved by ;he City Engineer. 7, Utility easements shall be required along the rear property lines of ;he subdivision and shall be shown in accordance with Ordinan ce No, 9050, Kith utility poles being placed therein. 8. One standard (6") six inch hydrant {1-4" and 1-2 1/2" outlets) shall be located at the northeast corner of Monroe and Magnolia Place. 10. The name Magnolia Place shall be changed to Karren Lane, 11, All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall come from the Carlsbad City Water Department. 12. All buildings constructed in this subdivision shall be connected to the Carlsbad City Public Sewer System. 13. The sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench In any part of this subdivision. 14. Proper drainage shall be maintained throughout the subdivision so as to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water, 15, The subdivider shall furnish the U. S. Post Office, Carlsbad, California, with a copy of the final subdivision map, 16. AU improvements required of the subdivider to be installed and dedicated to the City of Carlsbad shall be described in improvement plans approved by the City Engineer, and no construction shall be commenced until such plans are approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the Council held on the 7th day of March, 1961, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, Sanneman, McPherson and La Ro NOES: Hone ABSENT: Nane /-- ATTJZST; Carlsbad, California -2-
