A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CABLSBAD, STATING THEI€€
INTENTION TO RECLASSIFY CERTAIN PROPERTIES ON THE EASTERLY SIDE OF PI0 PIC0 DRIVE, BOUNDED BY ELM AVENUE TO THE NORTH AND PALM AVE%“ TO THE SOUTH; DIRECTIPTG THE PLAXU” COAIIiWS- SION TO HOLD A HIZ.AWG TO CONSIDER THIS CHANGE; AND DIRECTING THE SECRETARY OF
THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO GIVE NOTICE
OF THE PROPOSED ZONE
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad on its own motion
does hereby declare its intention to consider the reclassification of the following
described properties from Zone R-1 to Zone R-3:
I, more particularly Assessorfs Book 35, Page 41, Assessor’s
parcels 1, 7, 8 and 13.
2. Portion of Carlsbad Lands Sub Tracts 114 and 120,
Carlsbad Acre Tract, portion of Tract 115, Map 775,
particularly Assessorfs Book 35, Page 38, AssessorSs parcels 1, 2, 12A and 12x1.
3. Carlsbad Lands Tract 11 3, particularly Assessor‘s Book
4. Mulls Addition, Block 1, and portion Carlsbad Lands 113,
35, Page 36, Assessor?s parcels IIA, 11x2, 1lB and 12x1.
particularly Assessor‘s Book 35, Page 77, Assessor‘s Parcels 12, LA, 1x1, 2x2, 2B, 2A and 3.
5. Portion of Optlmo Tract and portion of Carlsbad Lands
Tract 113, particularly Assessorrs Book 35, Page 80, Assessorts
parcels 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18.
6. Portion Alles Avocado Acres, Resubdivision Block C, particularly Assessor’s Book 35, Page 5, Assessor’s parcels 7x1, 7A, 9 and 5.
SECTION 2, The Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
directed to hold a public hearing in the manner provided by law to consider the
above proposed change of zone classification.
SECTION 3, The Secretary of the Planning Commission is hereby directe
to give notice in the manner prescribed by law of the above proposed change.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlshad, held on the 21st day of March, 1961, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, Sonneman and La Roche.
NOES: None
