A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD REQUESTING OPINION OF HmLTH OFFICER, A-ND DECLARING THE NECESSXTY OF INSTALL-
ATION OF SANITARY SEWERS
(Proposed Assessment District No. 1-1961)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City clom.cil of the City of Carlshad that the
installation of sanitary sewers in Eureka Place, between Chestnut Avenue and
Basswood Avenue, in the City of Carlsbad, County of Sa Diego, State of
CaUfornia, be, and it is hereby found and declared to be necessary as a
health measure, and that assessment proceedings should be initiated to install
said sanitary sewers; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Carlsbad, be, and he is hereby directed to advise the Health Officer of the
City of Carlsbad that it is the finding of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
that the installation of such sanitary sewers is necessary as a health measur@
and that said Health Officer be requested to investigate said proposed install-
ation of sewers, and if the said Health Officer feels that the installation of
sewers h~ said street &3 necessary as a health measure, to advise this City
Cauncil that such b the case and to recommend that assessment proceedings
should be initiated for the construction of saM sanitary sewers.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeking of the
City Cauncil held on the 2nd day of May, 1961, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, La Roche, Sonneman and McPherso
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
