OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING AN AMENDMENT TO ORDINAMCE NO, 9050, ARTICLE ,UI. SECTION 300 (C).

WHEREAS, on the 11th day of July, 1961, the Carlabad City Planning
Commission adopted Resolution No. 214, which is herewith referred to and mad
a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of August, 1961, at a duly advertised public
hearing the City Council of the City of Carlsbad considered the Planning
Commission's Resolution No. 214; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing the City Council heard all persons interested
in or opposed to the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set forth
in Resolution No. 214;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Cib of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 214 constitute the findings
of the City Coulzcil of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND DECLARED that the City Council
hereby certifies that the approval of the amendment to Ordinance No. 9050,
as approved by Resolution No. 214 of the Planning Cmjnission is necessary
to carry out the general purpose of OrdinanceNo, 9050.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the change in Ordinance No.
9050, as set forth in Resolution No. 214 of the Planning Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DECLARED AND ORDERED that the
City Attorney is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Oranance
9050 as follows:

Article rY, Section 300 (C):
(e). Each subdivider, or his authorized agent, shall 11
confer with the staff of the City Planning Commission and the
City Engineer during preparation of the proposed tentative map
and prior to filing it with the City.
Planning Commission and the City Engineer shall require
general conformance to the requirements of the subdivision
ordinance before accepting a proposed tentative map for
filing and the Planning Commission consideration. "

of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the. 1st day of August, 1961, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, La Roche, Sonneman and McPherso
