Commission adopted Resolution No, 220, which is herewith referred to- and made
a part hereof; and
WEFEREAS, on October 3, 1961, a duly advertised public hearing was held
as prescribed by law to eonsider the reclassificaaon from Zone R-3 (Multiple
Dwellings) to Zone C-2 (General, Commercial) of property described as:
Parcel 8 exclusive of a 10' wide strip 120' long, adjacent to aad easterly of Parcel 7, extending
to the south side of and AvenueJ and the southerly
50r of Parcel 7, No, 203, Page 32, of the Assessorh Map Diego County.
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all
persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classification,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City cfl of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planning
Commission contained in Resolution No. 220 constitute the findings of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to- carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESQLTlED that the City Cauncil does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
dassmcation,
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney is
