RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, A.KNOUMCD4G
FJNDINGS AMD DECBIQH REGARDING
CHANGE OF' ZOHE CL&s~FrCATION OF
CERTAXN DESZGNATED PROPERTY ,IN
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-3 TO ZONE (2-2.
WHEBEAS, on the 26th day of September, 1961, the Carlsbad City
?lannllng Commission adopted Resolution No, 221, which is herewith referred
io and made a part hereof; and
WIIEREAS, on October 17, 1961, a duly advertised public hearing was
ield as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-3
:Multiple family residential} to C-2 (General CommercFdl) of property described

A portion of Tract. 117* Carlsbad Lands, being all of
parcels 10, lla 12, 13 and 14; the southwesterly 175 feet of parcel 4 and the southwesterly 85 feet of parcels
5 and 6, Page 32, Book 203 of the Assessor3s Map of SanDiego County;
and
WHERW, the City Council received all recommendations and heard
all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classificatiol
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Comcil of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Plalmlns
Cammiss;lon contained in Resolukion No* 221 constitute the findings of the CiQ
Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
class iff cation.
BE ]tT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. B06Q to
effectuate the change of zone classification.
