HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-01-16; City Council; Resolution 798I 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 22 24 2E 2( 27 2E 2: 3c 31 3: RESOLUTION NO, 798 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, AUTHOR- IZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD TO EXECUTE A QmTCLAIM DEED. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 710 of the City of Carlsbad, adopted by the City Council on January 3, 1961, accepted certain properties from E. LAMONT GEISSINGER and VERNA 0. GEESINGER fur street purposes; and WHEREIZS, through an inadvertence more real property was accepted by the City Council for street purposes than was intended. NOW, THEREFORE, IT $3 HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Cound of the City of Carlsbad that the following described real property be accepted by the City of Carlsbad for the public uses and benefits as specified in Resolution No. 710, to wit: That portion of Cedar Hills Addition to the Town of Carlsbad, according ta Map thereof No, 532, filed In the office of the Recorder of San Diego County, April 25, 1880, defined as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Cedar Hills Addithnj thence running North 89& 202 West along the North line of said Addition 731.28 feet to the Northeast corner of Tract No. 6 of Laguna Mesa Tracts, as shown on Map thereof Ha. 1719; thence South along the East line of said Tract No. 6 a distance of 1097.40 feet to the Sauthwesterly corner of that parcel of land described in deed to Clarence K. Brodie, et ux, recorded October 18, 1945, in Book 1971, page 164 of Official Records, said point being the true point of beginning of the property herein described; thence East along the. South line of said Brodieb land being along a line parallel with the South line of sdd Cedar wills Addition, a distance of 366 feet to a point on the West line of land described in deed to E. B. Sutton, et ux, recorded October 5, 1944, in Book 1754, Page 175 of Official Records; thence scuuth pardel with the East line of said Tract No. 6 along the West line of said Suttonh land a distance of 119 feet; thence West along a Une parallel with the South line of said Cedar Hills Addition a distance of 366 feet to a point on the East line of said Tract No. 6; thence North along said East line a distance of 119 feet to the TRUE POLNT OF BEGINNING. EXCEPTING therefrom the Westerly 30 feet thereof.
