RESOLUTION NO. 806
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION, DESCRI BING
THE BOUNDARIES OF' THE TERRITORY TO
BE ANNEXED, DESIGNATING SUCH TERRI-
TORY BY APPROPRUTE IDENTIFICATION,
FIXING A TIME D PLACE FOR HEARING OF OBJECTIONS TO PROPOSED ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, certain property owners have filed their petition with the
City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad in which they prayed that certain real
property referred to in said petition be annexed to the City of Carlsbad, which
petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on February 2(
1962, for its consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad makes its findings
in respect to said petition as follows, to wit:

That all the representations contained in said petition are true.
That the Boundary Commission of the County of San Diego has,
prior to the filing of said petition, determined the definiteness and certainty
of the boundaries of the territory sought to be annexed.
3. -That the land sought to be annexed is uninhabited and is described
in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof.
That the petitioners are the owners of more than one-fourth of the 4.
area of the land in such territory, and that the said land represents not less
than one-fourth of the assessed valuation of such land and territory, according
to the last preceding equalized assessment roll of the County of San Diego, in
which county such land and territory is situated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
SECTION P. That notice of such proposed annexation be and the same
is hereby given.
SECTION 2. That the boundaries of the territory proposed to be
mnexed to the City of Carlsbad are described in Exhibit "A", which is attached
iereto and by reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 3. That for the purpose of indentification said territory shall

be and the same is hereby designated as North Carlsbad Annexation No. 1.
SECTION 4. That Tuesday, April 3, 1962, at the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, Carlsbad, California, at the hour of 7:30 P. M. of said day,
be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing objections
to the proposed annexation. At any time before the hour set for hearing objections
the territory sought to be annexed may file written protest against the annexation.
The protest shall state the name of the owner of the property affected and the
description and area of the property in general terms.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
resolution in the Carlsbad Journal on March 1st and March 8th, 1962.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of February,
1962, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, La Roche and Sonneman.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman McPherson
ABSTAIN.ED: Councilman Bierce.
