RESOLUTION NO. 826
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD A.”OTJNCWG FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CWGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAJN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONES R-A AND R-3 TO ZONE R-T.

WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of May, 1962, the Carlsbad City Planning
Commission adopted Resolution No. 249, which is herewj-threferred to and
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on June 6, 1962, a duly advertised public hearing was held
as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-A (Residenti
Agricultural) and Zone R- 3 (Mdtiple-family residential) to Zone R-T,
(Recreational Tourist) of property described as:
A portion of Lot ftH1rJ Rancho Agua Hedionda, Map 823 and
Miscellaneous Map 209 in the City of Carlsbadj being Parcel I, Book 210, page 010, Assessor’s Map of San Diego County;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard
all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of mne classifica-
tion.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 249 constitute the findings
of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adapt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
classification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060
to effectuate the change of zone classification.

Council held on the 6th day of June, 1962, by the following vote, to wit:
