RESOLUTION NO. 847
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING AN
AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 9060 OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, BY DELETING
THE WORDS "AUTO COURTS"',
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of August, 1962, the Carlsbad City Planning
Commission adopted Resolution No. 258, which is herewith referred to and mad
a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of September, 1962, at a duly advertised
public hearing the City Council of the City of Carlsbad considered the Planning
CommissionTs Resolution No. 258; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing the City Council heard all persons interested
in or opposed to the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set forth
in Resolution No. 258;
NOW; THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings af the Planning
Commission contained ja Resolution No. 258 constitute the findings of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND DECLAPZED that the City Council
hereby certifies that the approval of the amendment to Ordinance No. 9060,
as approved by Resolution No. 258 of the Planning Commission, is necessary
to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the change in Ordinance No. 906C
as set forth in Resolution No. 258 of the Planning Commission.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060
as follows:

Deleting the words "Auto Courts" from the following sections:
Article 2, Section 253
Article 7, Section 700 (6)
Article 9, Section 900 (3) Article 10, Section 1000 (14)
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of September, 1962, by the
fallowing vote, to wit:

NOES: None
Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, McPherson, Neisw ender
and Hughes.
ABSENT: None
